THE RELIQUARY CHAPEL. This is the room in which the Ven. Luis de la Puente died in 1624. It was afterwards made into a chapel. The paintings (probably by the Valladolid artist, Diego Diez Ferreras) are of the Blessed Virgin and various Jesuit saints. The relics which, in the photograph, adorn the walls were placed in glass cases at the rear of the chapel in 1954. |
