Serra of Daulia (Perth, Australia) in college church, 20th November 1881; ordained a priest, bishop’s private chapel, Palencia, 25th March 1882, and left for Scotland, 11th April 1882; died in Fochabers, 21st May 1937. The Rev. William Shaw was born in Aberdeen on 1st January, 1858; entered Blairs College on 20th July, 1871; and was sent to Valladolid in August, 1875. He received the Tonsure and Minor Orders on the 19th, and the Subdiaconate on the 20th, November, 1881, from Mgr. Serra, Bishop of Daulia, in the College Chapel; and was ordained Deacon on the 4th, and Priest on the 25th, March, 1882, by Mgr. Lozano y Terreira, Bishop of Palencia, in the Chapel of his Episcopal Palace. On his return to Scotland he was appointed Professor in Blairs College.
