James Humble

(Archdiocese of Glasgow) Born in Liverpool, 26th October 1865, the son of Andrew Humble and Agnes Edgar; to Blairs, 14th August 1878; ordained a priest by Archbishop Sanz y Fores of Valladolid (in his private chapel ?), 2nd June 1889, and left for Scotland, 11th June 1889; assistant at Maryhill, Glasgow, 1889, and priest in charge at Newmains, 1896; returned to Valladolid as vice-rector, 15th October 1903; rector of the college, 1909-40; lived in retirement in college until his death, 9th June 1948.
