John MacDonald

(Diocese of Aberdeen) Born at Cannich, Strathglass, 16th January 1864, the son of James MacDonald and Margaret Chisholm, and a nephew of Bp. John MacDonald; ordained a priest early, because of ill health, 3rd February 1889, and left for Scotland, 5th February, 1889; celebrated Mass twice (once in Valladolid, once in Kinning Park, Glasgow) before his death, from tuberculosis, at Cannich, 20th March 1889.
