David Murie
(Archdiocese of Glasgow) Born in Airdrie, 16th March 1864, the son of Peter Murie and Agnes Cavan; left, because of glandular trouble, 28th February 1887, entered Partickhill, 9th May 1887, and ordained a priest by Archbishop Eyre in St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Glasgow, 23rd June 1889; died in Airdrie, 7th June 1900.
