James Slorach
(Diocese of Aberdeen) Born in Huntly, 28th March 1870, the son of William Slorach and Anne George; left for Scotland, 16th January 1894, because of illness of his parents, and was ordained a priest by Bp. Hugh MacDonald C.Ss.R., in Cathedral, Aberdeen, 25/26th February 1894; canon of the Aberdeen chapter; died in Elgin, 12th September 1943. (MT)
