William J. MacMaster
(Diocese of Argyll and the Isles) Born at Kinlochmoidart, 18/28th November 1870, the son of Angus Macmaster and Jessie Mackintosh; ordained a priest by Archbishop of Valladolid, 24th May 1894, and left for Scotland, 27th May 1894; professor and vice-rector in Valladolid, 10th September 1894 to 3rd July 1902; priest in charge, Fort William, 1922-58; canon of the Argyll and the Isles chapter 1888 (1922); domestic prelate (1942), protonotary apostolic (1951); died in Glasgow, 13th October 1958.
