Daniel Colvin
(Archdiocese of Glasgow) Born at Lightburn, nr. Shettleston, Glasgow, 24th January 1877, the son of Daniel Colvin and Margaret McGhee; ordained a priest, 29th June 1902, and left for Scotland, 3rd July 1902; parish priest, St. Patrick’s, Coatbridge, 1931-51; canon of the Glasgow and, later, of the Motherwell chapters; died in Coatbridge, 8th December 1951.
