Donald Martin
(Diocese of Argyll and the Isles) Born in Ardnamurchan, 6th October 1873, and a nephew of David McDonald, rector of the college; worked in a merchant’s office in Liverpool; recalled to Scotland, August 1905, and ordained a priest by Bishop Smith in Oban, 23rd September 1905; nominated Bishop of Argyll and the Isles, 2nd April 1919, and consecrated by Bishop Toner, 11th June 1919; died in Oban, 6th December 1938.
