Walter Welsh
(Archdiocese of St. Andrews and Edinburgh) Born in Stirling, 18th January 1886, the son of Michael Welsh and Mary Moran; transferred by his bishop to College of Propaganda Fide, Rome, 30th August 1905; gained doctorate in theology, ordained priest, Rome, 23rd April 1912; canon of the St. Andrews and Edinburgh chapter; died in Edinburgh, 12th March 1954.
