Edward Scanlan
(Diocese of Galloway) Born in Auchinleck, 1st September 1907, the son of Patrick Scanlan and Mary Kelly; left, 12th March 1933, went to St. Patrick’s College, Thurles, ordained a priest by Archbishop Harty of Cashel in Cathedral, Thurles, 10th June 1934; died in Irvine, 19th February 1958.
