Joseph Hendrie

. (Lowland District) Born in Edinburgh, a nephew of Bishop Hay; arrived in Valladolid from Scalan; left, unordained, January 1782, and went to Paris, via Barcelona (instead of, as expected, to Rome to meet Bishop Hay); went to Scots College, Douai, but left, unordained; emigrated to America.
