John McLachlan

(Northern District) Born at Banff, 12th February 1804, the son of John McLachlan and Helen Grant; arrived in Valladolid from Aquhorties; ordained a priest, 1829, and left for Scotland, 11th May 1829; took some boys to Ratisbon, June 1838, and remained there until June 1839; at Preshome, Huntly, Keith and Inverness before going to America (probably 1852), where he died, 25th October 1856.
