(Northern District and Diocese of Aberdeen) Born at Braemar, 16th April 1852; left for Scotland, 18th June 1875, and ordained a priest by Bishop Strain in Blairs, 15th August 1875; at Stonehaven from 1881 until he died there, 1st June 1899.

The Rev. James Stewart was born in Braemar on the 16th April, 1852; entered Blairs College on the 31st July, 1865; and was sent to the Scots College, Valladolid, in November, 1870. Having returned to Scotland in May, he was ordained Sub-Deacon on the 11th, Deacon on the 13th, and Priest on the 15th August, by Bishop Strain in Blairs College. He stationed at Aberdeen.
