William Andrew Hart
(Archdiocese of Glasgow) Born in Dumbarton, 9th September 1904, the son of Daniel Hart and Margaret Gallagher; ordained a priest by Archbishop Gandásegui in Cathedral, Valladolid, 25th May 1929, and left for Scotland, 28th May 1929; military chaplain during second world war; in Valladolid as assistant to rector, 16th November 1948 to 31st May 1949; nominated Bishop of Dunkeld, 27th May 1955, and consecrated by Archbishop Campbell in Dundee, 21st September 1955.
