Joseph McGee

(Diocese of Dunkeld) Born in Crieff, 13th December 1905, the son of Denis McGee and Sarah McGlinchey; ordained priest by Archbishop Gandásegui in Cathedral, Valladolid, 25th May 1929, and left for Scotland, 30th May 1929; taught at Blairs, 1931-40; canon of the Dunkeld chapter and vicar general; consecrated Bishop of Galloway by Archbishop Godfrey in Dumfries, 11th November 1952.
